Go skiing in Åre
The skiing in Åre with 100 slopes and 42 lifts is magnificent. Here you will find great skiing for both the beginner and the experienced skier. Children's areas are available in Åre Björnen, Rödkullen and in Duved. The range of restaurants is great and in downtown Åre there are several shops, grocery stores and coffee shops. The tempo is often high in Åre and after a day there is always a good to come home to Enaforsholm Fjällgård.
Go skiing in Storlien
Storlien is a relaxing alternative to speedy Åre. Here the lift ques are shorter and there is more space in the ski slopes. Despite the fact that Storlien is in the shadow of Åre, the mountain resort offers really good skiing. Here you can find untouched slopes even in the afternoons. The train can take you back and forth to Storlien so you can leave the car at home.
Randonee and freeride skiing
In the spring winter, the randonee and freeride skiers will gather at Storulvån to climb the Getryggen or one of Snasahagarna. The mountain Snasahögarna is just behind our hotel and offers one of the best rides. Our favorites are to ski down the western or eastern side of Snasahagarna, depending on how the winds have blown.
The north side is very infinite so only guided tours are recommended.
